MA Fine Art Degree show setup (DAYS 1-3)

Preparation for the degree show is exhausting. First I spent 2 months picking out 400 + images, which were a mix between images from the scanning electron microscope (biological) and fractals. I like the deferences in the perception of the real and artificial and to enhance this distinction I had to recolour them to make the colours seem synthetic.

Printing in London is extremely expensive and the whole thing would have costed me around £1000!   There was no way I was going to spend so much, so I got help from my dad and had them printed in India for a fraction of the cost. Then I had the 10 kgs of paper shipped across. It was worth it because so far it is coming along great and just as I hoped.

Spent the first day lining the walls with lining paper. I stapled them as i wasn't allowed to glue them to the walls. I have conquered my fear of wobbly ladders in the process! The next two days were spent using four cans of spray mount to stick the images to the lining paper. Now im all out of images and waiting for the next lot to arrive on monday so I can finish this.  More pics of the completed project to follow!
